Sharda University is one of the finest institutions in the country. I would not be where I am, if I hadn’t chosen Sharda University. Immediately after completing my graduation, I got a job as a Marketing executive at Tata industries after graduation. Currently I am the Vice President Marketing at Tata Motors division and every day I utilize the knowledge gained at Sharda University. My seniors too realized that I have been prepared by the university in every way to tackle the real world and I will be able to apply my knowledge and skills effectively.

My instructors, professors and lecturers were the best in their fields and I could approach them at any given point of time. They gave me some fantastic recommendations. Sharda University does not only give you an education but also a dynamic and exciting environment where you are able to exchange ideas with peers and professors on a daily basis. Every day I spent there, I learned essential networking skills, and through that networking I was able to land internships at top companies in India. Every day spent at Sharda University is an enriching experience and it ultimately chiseled me into the professional I am today.

The campus became my second home because of its rich resources. Every classroom was equipped with the latest technologies and the libraries housed some of the most extensive collections of books. Each school has its individual library and any resource can be found on library computers. Sharda University has fine sports facilities and some of the best eateries I have come across in a university environment. The eateries are a great place to relax and unwind between classes, and sometimes students and lecturers will meet in an informal setting to discuss questions in class or help with networking. Career fairs are held regularly where some of the top companies come to recruit the finest graduates of Sharda University.

Prior to my gaining admission, an alumnus from Sharda University had great positive things to say about this university. My suggestion is, you should visit the campus and see for yourself how my comments so far, regarding Sharda University hold true.  Current students and professors will tell you that it not only gives you an education but also prepares you for the career of your choice. With the years rolling by, every new graduate finds the head start to his career in some of the best companies in India like me, so by securing an admission at Sharda University, you are securing your own future. WIRE & CABLES

Premier Wires Pvt.Ltd. (PWP) has been manufacturing the largest and the most versatile range of wires and cables in the country. The unit, situated at Duhabi,Sunsari, started with the manufacturing of G.I. wires in the year 2000 and now has a production capacity of 21000 MT per annum. Wire drawing is the largest section of this unit. There are different sub-sections of wire drawing for producing H.B. wires, Annealed wires, Aluminum wires, Copper wires, Stay wires, barbed wires, etc. Recently, PWP has expanded its production to include other products such as: ACSR and AAC conductors, house wiring cable, flexible cables, Telecom cables, Control cables, Auto cables, Power cables, Coaxial cables, ABC cables, M. S. Nails, Rivets and M S Nut-Bolts. The company has acquired the N. S. Standard and was the first ISO 9001 (2000 Edition) Company in Nepal. With its focus of supplying to large projects, the company caters primarily to the needs of government projects and international aid projects in Nepal. The company is also working towards further increasing its exports.

Swadeshi Sabun Udhyog (P) Ltd (SSU), situated at Sonapur, Biratnagar, inside the PKTU complex, has a production capacity of 15,000 MT per annum. The establishment of this unit on 23rd March 1992 and the subsequent introduction of the Aaha 72% laundry soap revolutionized soap production in the country. The products popularity soared to such a scale that it is now an active export item. The company manufactures Laundry Soaps, Carbolic Soaps, Toilet Soaps, Detergent cakes and powder.

(ACF) Another Flagship of Sharda group, AC Footwear Pvt. Ltd. (ACF) is amongst the few reputed shoe manufacturers with a production capacity of 400,000 pairs per annum. The factory is located at Harisiddhi VDC, Lalitpur. Its major products include Sport Shoes, Fancy Shoes, Canvas Belly, EVA Slippers and soles .The Shoes are marketed under the brand names Gladstor & Genius. Each product is the manifestation of high standards of workmanship fused with the latest technology. As a result, they are trendy and comfortable in design and fit. ACF has a large share in the domestic shoe market. Presently, ACF is working towards upgrading by incorporating newer technologies. Furthermore, it is diversifying its market, and focusing on expanding its export market.

Plastic

Atlas Pet Plastic Industries (Nepal) Pvt. Ltd. , situated at Balaju Industrial Area, Kathmandu was established in 1998. With its establishment, it ushered in a new era of plastic utilizing high technology PET stretch blow molded containers. Today, the company is one of the largest manufacturers of Injection Stretch Blow Molded (ISBM) bottles and containers. Innovation, segment-wise market expansion, penetration and high degree of customer orientation have been the key factors behind its astounding growth. Atlas Pet's mission is to meet the packaging needs of various industries and it regularly caters to large MNC’s in Nepal besides being involved in the export of its products to India. Premier Polymers Pvt. Ltd The factory is located at Premier Complex in Duhabi, Sunsari. The company manufactures Lay Flat Tubes (used for irrigational purposes) and Tarpaulin, utilizing LLDP as a primary raw material. Established in 2001 with a vision of producing optimum quality tubes, the durable tubes are produced employing extrusion process. Lay flat tubes are manufactured in different grades namely single grade - 0.5 mm thickness, different dimension-with/without lining and different wall thickness. With a capacity to roll out 1,500 MT/annum, the company has a high export density of 600-700 MT/annum. The exports are chiefly concentrated towards the northern part of India such as Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. In the near future, the company is taking steps towards further enhancing its export base by expanding its production capacity. Pashupati Synpack Industries Pvt. Ltd. (PSI) Established in 2002, this facility is located at Sonapur, Biratnagar. PSI is involved in manufacturing of PP woven sack through the production line that has 2 Tape Lines and 106 looms. The company is currently manufacturing 400 tons of sacks per month where the sizes of the sacks come out in a wide range, varying from 12 inches to 54 inches. This unit is equipped with the most modern and technologically advanced imported machinery, which helps manufacture woven sacks of the highest quality.

Oxygen

Binayak Oxygen Industries Pvt. Ltd. (BOI) The company with yearly manufacturing capacity of 50,000 Medical & Industrial O2 gas Cylinders and 15,000 Nitrogen Gas Cylinders, BOI Pvt. Ltd, was established on 1994 at Sonepur, Biratnagar. The medical O2 gas is 99.95% pure. It is supplied to various government hospitals, private hospitals and nursing homes. In addition, the produced nitrogen gas is regularly procured by numerous packaging industries; they are used as food preservatives. Kantipur Oxygen (P) Ltd. (KOP) The company was established at Hirisiddhi-4, Lalitpur in 2006, to cater to the increasing demand of oxygen for both Industrial and Medical purposes. The company supplies 99.95% pure oxygen gas of medical grade to government and private hospitals and other private industrial units. The company is bridging the gap between supply and demand and standing true to the commitment of the group. Pashupati Khadya Tel Udhyog Pvt. Ltd. (PKTU) is the first private sector manufacturer of refined oil in Nepal. Sharda Group entered the area of oil processing three decades ago and established the unit at Sonapur, Sunsari. PKTU boasts of an annual production capacity of 20,000 MT. Thanks to RBD oil manufacture under the brand name of Postman, Superman and Hanuman are Nepal’s largest selling oil brands, the performance has placed Sharda Group among the top oil manufacturers and exporters from Nepal. This unit also manufactures Vanaspati (Hydrogenated) Ghee, which is another feather in its cap. Marketed under the brand names of Superman and Postman, which are one of the most popular brands in both India and Nepal. Taste and quality has always been synonymous with our products. Asian Thai Foods Pvt. Ltd. (ATF) is a popular venture of Sharda Group situated in Sonapur, Biratnagar, it is the first noodle-manufacturing unit in Eastern Nepal. The plant is fully automatic with a capacity of producing 8,00,000 hundred thousand packets of 75gms noodles per day. RumPum, 2PM, Phataphat, PikVik, Phuche and Mama Brand Snacks are a few popular brands produced and marketed by the company. ATF is committed to providing finer and healthier products to its costumers, on this line the company has launched the countries first healthy ready to eat noodles made out of whole wheat (Atta) and it is also the only manufacturer of Cup Noodles in Nepal. Further ATF is also pursuing to provide innovative and healthy ready to eat convenient snack items. ATF is certified with HACCP ISO 22000:2005 and Nepal standard certification. Established on January 2006, Cosmic Homecare Pvt. Ltd. manufactures a variety of mosquito coils in various shapes, colors and burning periods. CHC markets its products under the brand name of Dhoom, Cosmic and Action with Dhoom herbal being the first herbal mosquito coil in Nepal. Located at Khanar, Sunsari Nepal, the company has an installed capacity of manufacturing 20,000 cartons per month. As a member of one of the reputed industrial houses of the Nation, CHC is well aware of its responsibility towards enhancing and protecting the health of fellow citizens. Pashupati Rice and Oil Mills Pvt. Ltd (PRM) The company has been operational for the past four decades and is situated in rural Nepal at Lahan. It has a production capacity of 10,000 MT per annum. Shivam Cements Pvt. Ltd.(SCPL), latest venture under flagship of Sharda Group came in existence in 2006 with capacity of 1250 TPD to manufacture different grades of cement. SCPL’s aim is to provide superior quality cement from its modern plant which is planned to be located at Hatiya V.D.C, Makwanpur.

The company is provided with high quality limestone from its self owned mines situated at Sukoura and Ipa Panchakanya Districts. Other high quality raw materials like Gypsum, iron ore and coal which are important ingredients of cement will be imported from vendors of international repute. Located at Maharajgunj, Kathmandu and a member of the Rugmark Foundation, Pioneer Carpets is the 2nd largest manufacturer and exporter of high quality Nepalese/Tibetan Rugs from Nepal.

Nepalese carpets are renowned throughout the world for their intricate designs, attractive colors and exquisite workmanship. The rugs are hand woven in authentic Himalayan Highland Wool and are dyed with environment friendly AZO free dyes (vegetable as well as chemical). These rugs are made of 100% pure wool and are child labour free.
